Our Story

Warmpaka is a small family business that brings handmade alpaca goods from the Andes to your door.

Our family has deep roots in Peru and Ecuador. For generations, artisan families there have raised alpacas and turned their fiber into warm, beautiful things: ponchos, sweaters, gloves, socks and the soft stuffed animals kids fall in love with. We started Warmpaka to share that work with families in the United States, and to make sure the artisans who make it are treated fairly.

What we believe

• Handmade, not mass-produced. Every piece is knit, woven or sewn by hand, so no two are exactly alike.
• Ethically sourced. We work directly with artisan families and small alpaca farms we know and trust.
• Made to last. Alpaca is warm, light and strong. Cared for well, it lasts for years.

We have been sharing Andean alpaca goods with customers for more than six years. Every order is checked and packed by our family, and every piece ships free.
